Monday, April 16th, 2012. I’ve been told this a bad idea by haters who say that The Monkey House has no love for hip hop. This is simply impossible to believe. We’re bringing great music through town and there will be no finer performance going down on a Monday night.
Then again, when I see that The Monkey House still does not have our show on their calendar despite booking it, I have to wonder what’s going on. Wondering is for kids, though — I’ll tell you what’s going on: we’re going to deliver the goods next Monday, and you’re going to be there. Thanks in advance for proving the nay-sayers wrong, and congratulations on your superb taste, high energy and excellent fashion sense.

Videos are fun, I mess around with video constantly, I just don’t post most of it yet. You know how it is being an artist: I want total fucking control of the medium so I can say what I want how I want to. Right now, I’m in the Steep Learning Curve neighborhood so it’ll be awhile. Until then…
…hell yeah I want to work on videos. Especially with creative types. Fuck a normal “rap” video, the world needs exactly zero more of those.

This is going to be an Event. We have a ton of new material for this show and we’ll be presenting it at one of the nicest venues in New England. At $5, this is an insanely great deal — just in time for the collapse of the US economy, too!
Rhinofest was amazing. We delivered one of the tightest sets in Wombaticus history and featured some World Around Records family in the process — big thanks to Dr. Quandary, Louis Mackey and especially Devastate who came in from Las Vegas to rock for hundreds of Vermont hippies.
It’s a groggy Monday morning and we’re back at Vault 46 in Boston, strategizing for next weekend’s gigs…especially the epic presentation we’ve got lined up for Positive Pie in Montpelier. Our original set for Rhinofest was over 90 minutes long, and we trimmed that down to a brutally efficient 45. At Positive Pie on August 13th, we’ll be stretching out to cover all the bases. Be there.
Ayup. That just happened. We’re going to (finally) swing through Erie on tour in about a month’s time. This is part of the Algorhythms “Love Supreme Tour” vacation package, and Black Death will be opening up. $3 cover.

Q. When will Wombaticus Rex return to Vermont?
A. Great question #daug! We will be at Rhinofest August 5-7th, and then playing August 13th at Positive Pie in Montpelier with Witness and Algorhythms.
Q. Is it true you’ve just released an album?
A. Hot damn yes it is! That album is called No Humans Allowed and I did it with Louis Mackey, who is both my rapping buddy and a monster on the beats. The album is brutal and it’s some of my favorite work, too. Plus it’s only $3.

A. You mean the awesome video that Custom made for Minimum Wage? Hell yes I will…
